Winter, snow and life

To day was a very beautiful day. The white snow on the ground and on the trees looked just so nice and the sky was light grey and a bit misty. It was not to cold, (if yo ask me). So while I wait for my tea water to be done I decided to write a short post. Just as it can be dry and unfruitful to walk on your own, going against what God want you to do, it can be quite cold as well. God is our refuge and shelter. When we do not have that we get spiritually dry, since we have no food to give the soul and we get cold because we have no shelter. God provides us with food, refuge and shelter and without it we will not make it. Psalm 18:2 “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” He is the one to turn to always and for everything. When we are cold, hungry and dry, we should come to Him and get warmth, moist and full. Hopefully we do not have to end up like that, but if we do, He will reach out and help us back up.
